Gigabyte Guru provides help, guidance and advice on most IoT matters but I usually specialise in all forms of radio communications...in particular Cellular connectivity. So if you are looking to deploy anything with a SIM card in it, speak to me first.

I have been working with, and selling Connectivity services for over 25 years now. I have personally sold nearly 3 million sim cards around the globe and I have either worked with, or partnered with, almost every mobile network or MVNO around the world. 

In all honesty it doesn't really matter. If your solution requires a cellular or radio connection then I can probably help. The IoT industry is largely irrelevant in my experience.

Nothing!... my services to you are completely free of charge. If I can help you I will, if I cannot then I'll tell you straight away and probably recommend someone who can. I earn from a referral fee from any supplier or partner that you end up working with that has come from a recommendation of mine.

Difficult question to answer... I can guarantee that I will give you my honest opinion at all times and you are free to always make your own choices. I will make recommendations on vendors, products, and services, that I would adopt if I were in your business. If that negates me from being truly impartial then so be it. But I will always only work with the best of breed vendors.

Because it costs me nothing to give you my opinion, so why would I charge you for it? I have built up a huge network of contacts, partners and trusted advisors over my 25 years, and they do not charge me for their counsel so I do not charge you for mine. I would rather simply help you reach a decision. Once that is made, I will often (not always) charge a fee to anyone that I recommend. 

Of course. It's one of the simplest and quickest things I can do for you. I can evaluate what you are currently getting, and give you my opinion on what your incumbent agreement looks like when compared to current market conditions. You can then use this data to try and improve your situation.

Not at all. You can still deploy using standard sims (plastic) in all formats including embedded, but what you DO need to be looking to adopt is the use of eUICC sims. Which is the ability to update a sim profile or vendor over the air (OTA). I would say this is a MUST now.
